Friends of Torre Abbey
The Friends of Torre Abbey (now affectionately known as FOTA) is a registered charity, founded in 1992, for the specific purpose of supporting and promoting Torre Abbey, its collections and gardens.
Since its foundation, FOTA has raised and donated over £600,000 of support for Torre Abbey. Examples of our support include:

£170,000 towards the restoration project

acquiring important works of art

funds for cleaning and restoring art

adding to the collection of books

enhancing display and storage facilities

funds for improving the gardens
By becoming a member of FOTA, you will be joining a friendly group of like-minded people who are passionate to support Torre Abbey by way of membership fees, donations and fundraising from a variety of lively, fun and interesting events and trips throughout the year.
Please note that we are not currently accepting any new memberships.
The Committee has concluded that we are to seek member's approval to wind up FOTA and this will be put to a Special General Meeting when ongoing discussions on the full details of a winding up have been concluded.
